 Fiona Apple I first tasted Shayla’s food at a photo shoot a few years ago, and I remember I kept nervously eyeing the spread, as other people were wolfing down the dishes, fearing that I might miss my second helpings... Shayla set aside two huge platters for me to take home, and after refusing my friends request to share, I took them and ate them both that very night! Shayla’s food is that wonderful — but hard to come by — combination of clean AND soulful — her dishes reflect her thoughtfulness and her dedication to purity and health, but they are also just plain delicious — and it’s joyful food!
